The Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications plans to halve the number of permit documents necessary for Transport Control passing, the Ministry head Askar Zhumagaliyev said on Monday.
"Currently, the Transport and Communications Ministry issues 33 different traffic control permit documents. We are planning to abolish half of them. As the experience shows, some of them hinder business development and create conditions for corruption," Zhumagaliyev wrote on his blog.
Moreover, the Ministry plans to change the procedure of permit documents issuance.
"The issuance of permit documents will be automated and transferred to public service centers. So, the transportation companies ... will hand over all documents to public service centers and will receive the decision at the appointed time," Zhumagaliyev wrote.
