Kazakhstan Chamber proposes offering National Funds as company loans

The National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan Atameken Union has offered to direct part of the funds from the National Fund for lending to small and medium sized businesses.

"We are ready to send a proposal to the government that some funding from the National Fund is allocated to support the banking sector to support small and medium business in the non-raw material sector," Chairman Ablay Myrzahmetov said on Wednesday.

He said it could be possible to provide small and medium enterprises in this trading sector with low cost financing as capital to develop production for eight to10 years at seven to eight per cent per year maximum.

The National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan Atameken Union is the National Union of Associations of private entrepreneurs created to coordinate business activities and to provide and protect the common property and other legitimate interests of its members.
