Turkey has increased its raw imports materials by 6 percent to $13.3 billion in January compared to the same month in 2011, the Turkish Statistics Institute reported on Thursday.
Imports of investment goods increased by 6 percent to $2.402 billion.
Imports of consumer goods dropped by 20.3 percent, amounting to $1.592 billion.
Exports of raw materials increased by 7.6 percent to $ 1.9 billion.
