Kazakhstan, Astana, March 16 / Trend D.Mukhtarov /
Kazakh Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises (AMME) appealed to the government of the country to assist in the facilitation of customs clearance of goods, executive director of the AMME, president of the Union of Manufacturers and Exporters of Kazakhstan Nikolai Radostovets said on Friday, speaking at the V meeting of the Union of exporters in Astana.
"During customs clearance when sending a gondola abroad in the shipping documents, customs seals and stamps are set in 22 places, which increases the time taken to send the goods," said Radostovets.
However, according to the customs legislation of the RK, customs clearance must be carried out in the customs authorities during working hours, which leads to demurrage of gondolas and additional costs of the enterprise.
"In this regard, we request to consider issue on moving from licensing system to notifying system during customs clearance of goods, that is, to develop a mechanism of sending the goods without affixing the stamps and stamp on paper, but to notify the customs authorities on goods sent via e-mail," the AMME head said.
