Central Bank of Turkey’s assets increase

Assets of the Central Bank of Turkey increased by $1.6 billion in March 2012 compared to the previous month and amounted to $91.3 billion, the Central Bank of Turkey's report posted on its website says on Friday.

Turkey's reserve position in IMF in March amounted to $174 million compared to $175 million in February.

Gold reserves of the Central Bank in March hit $11.3 billion compared to $11.1 billion in February.

Net capital outflow from Turkey in March totalled $16.4 billion compared to $16.3 billion in February.

Some $809 million of this was attracted with a maturity of one month, $2.9 billion from two to three months and $13.4 billion from four months to a year.
