The average price for housing in Tashkent was$ 549 per square meter in June 2012, or 0.2 percent more than in May and 15.8 percent more than in June 2011, Sion Group real estate organization's information-analytical center Sion Research said.
More than a half of the supply - 60.9 percent in June compared to 61.2 percent in May fall to the housing sector in the panel and solid houses.
The average bid price of apartments in brick houses rose by an average of 0.3 percent - up to $ 595 per square meter last month compared to $593 in May. The average prices on apartments in the panel and solid buildings remained at the level of May - $502 per square meter.
According to realtors, the average discount while concluding the purchase-sale contracts in June rose to 4-5 percent compared to 3 percent in April-May. The average real price on residential sales amounted to $524 per square meter compared to $532 in May.
The minimum total area of the housing put for sale was 10 square meters in June, maximum - 452 square meters.
About 66 percent of supply in the property market in June fell two-and three-room apartments, 18.2 percent - one-room, 13.3 percent - four-room apartments. Many room apartments - from five room or more hit 2.5 percent of the total number of supply.
According to the Sion Group, there are 30,710 apartment buildings in Uzbekistan, including 9,110 in Tashkent. The housing fund in the capital includes 426,800 apartments.
