Iran's industrial exports surpass $6b‎

Iran exported over 6 billion worth of industrial goods in the first five months of current ‎Iranian calendar year (ended August 20), Deputy Mine, Trade and Industry Minister said ‎on the sidelines of the 12th International Industry Expo.‎

ILNA News Agency quoted Masoud Movahedi as saying that the mentioned amount ‎accounts for 36 percent of the nation's total exports.‎

Iran also exported $1.095 billion worth of technical and engineering services during the ‎mentioned period.‎

During the five-month period, $12.6 billion worth of goods (excluding gas condensates) ‎were exported to China, UAE, Iraq, India, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Turkey, ‎Turkmenistan, Pakistan, and South Korea.‎

According to Movahedi Iran exported $4.1 billion worth of technical and engineering ‎services in the previous calendar year (ended March 20).‎

The 12th International Industry Expo was opened at Tehran Permanent International ‎Fairgrounds on October 5.‎

Over 408 Iranian and 118 foreign companies from different countries such as Germany, ‎Belgium, Austria, Turkey and China have participated in the three-day exhibition.‎
