Changes made to large financial industrial holding company in Azerbaijan

Adygezal Agaev was appointed the new chairman of the holding company by the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijani group of companies AtaHolding, JSC told Trend. Previously, the position was held by Farid Asadov.

The decision was made at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of AtaHolding, which was held recently.

Previously Agaev was deputy chairman of the holding on financial matters. Currently, the post remains vacant. There will be three deputy board chairmen in accordance with the changes in the holding's structure.

Currently, one Deputy Chairman Rauf Garalov supervises tourism and industry and the newly appointed vice-president Rashad Rasulov, who was formerly an advisor to the holding, will be responsible for communications, public relations and human resources policies.

AtaHolding, established in 2003, is investing capital in various parts of the economy, managing financial and intellectual resources and corporate administration. The company's authorised capital amounts to 83.9 million manat and is mostly directed towards the development of finance, information technology, industry, services and tourism.
