Warsaw to host meeting of Azerbaijani-Polish intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation

The Azerbaijani and Polish governments will discuss prospects for economic cooperation. Negotiations will be held during the fifth session of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation to be held in Warsaw on Nov. 26-27, Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Michal Labenda told journalists on Monday.

The Azerbaijani and Polish governments will discuss prospects for economic cooperation. Negotiations will be held during the fifth session of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation to be held in Warsaw on Nov. 26-27, Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Michal Labenda told journalists on Monday.

Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Minister Natig Aliyev will head the government delegation. He is a co-chairman of the intergovernmental commission from the Azerbaijani side.
It is planned to conduct a business forum with the participation of businessmen from the two countries as part of the meeting.

According to the Polish side, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Poland last year amounted to $136 million. Around $17 million falls to the share of Azerbaijan's exports. Azerbaijan mainly exports agricultural products and chemicals to Poland.
