Tbilisi City Court dismissed the lawsuit of Georgian Railways against the Batumi oil terminal on Friday.
Georgian Railway charged 13.943.553 million lari from terminal. Subject of controversy was the reimbursement of rail tanks' downtime due to a defective maintenance and storage costs of the goods as it was provided in the agreement. However, the defendant said it did not violate the terms of the contract.
The Court considered that the Georgian Railway has not provided sufficient evidence of its position.
Tbilisi City Court decision can be appealed within 14 days.
