Iranian specialists launch sulfur packaging unit

Iranian specialists have launched a unit for packaging bentonite sulfur as a Polish firm that has inked a deal in this regard did not meet its obligations, the Mehr News Agency reported.

The units was launched at Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refinery, in northeast of Iran.

The name of the Polish firm or its contractual obligations were not disclosed.

The refinery has the capacity to produce 600,000 tons of sulfur per year. The unit will help boost the refinery's sulfur output.

After the overhaul, the sulfur production at Shahid Hasheminejad refinery is currently in full capacity.
