The import of breeding stock by Azerbaijan from Argentina is possible in future, but it is a complex process that will require preliminary settlement of a number of issues, including the issue of fodder.
This was told reporters by Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Ismet Abbasov.
"For the development of breeding stock supply from Argentina to Azerbaijan a meeting of businessmen from both countries, involved in this field, has to be organized to discuss and reach agreements on certain issues, including on the quality of fodder and water for the animals," Abbasov said.
According to him, fodder supply is very important in the development of animal husbandry, depending on the crop sector, which is expected to be developed.
The minister said that despite the great distance between the two countries, political relations are at a high level, and this will contribute to further development of cooperation.
