Turkey will allocate a loan worth $250 million to Tunisia as part of an intergovernmental agreement between Tunisia and the country signed on Nov.8, 2012, Turkish Resmi Gazete newspaper reported.
The conditions of the loan issuance and its term are not specified. The issued loan will be spent on implementation of transport and agricultural projects.
Earlier Turkey allocated a loan for the development of the Egyptian economy worth $2 billion. The agreement was reached at a meeting of Egyptian Presidential Adviser Essam El-Haddad with Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan.
