The Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes transferred tax payments worth 5.634 billion manat to the state budget in Jan.-Nov. 2012, a message posted on the official Ministry website said on Wednesday.

The share of payments on profit tax amounted to 38.6 per cent of the total amount of tax revenues, value-added tax - 23.7 per cent, income tax - 13.1 per cent, excise - 7.3 per cent and other taxes - 17.3 per cent.

Tax deductions from the non-oil sector to the state budget amounted to 3.21 billion manat or by 13.9 per cent more than in January-November, 2011.

Around 66,445 taxpayers passed state registration in January-November.

The number of people registered in electronic form from July 1, 2011 to December 1, 2012, hits 51,128. The total number of taxpayers as of December 1, 2012 was 477,038.

The share of tax declarations filed in electronic form was 90 per cent in January-November, 2012.

The official exchange rate is 0, 7849 AZN/USD on Dec. 20.
