JSC Irrigation and Water Management in Azerbaijan have announced a tender for the purchase of 88 tractors within the Water Users Association Development Support Project (WUAP) of World Bank (WB).
This is stated in a report published in the official press on Sunday.
According to the report, in accordance with the terms of the tender, the goods must be delivered no later than 12 weeks after advance payment.

The Government of Azerbaijan and the World Bank signed a loan agreement to provide $ 80 million for implementation of WUAP in October 2011. Of the total amount $76.8 million is granted by the International Development Association (IDA) and $ 3.2 million by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD). The government's share in the project is $34.3 million. Total cost of the project is $114.3 million.
The project financed by the World Bank is expected to promote rehabilitation of irrigation and drainage systems and creation of a specific potential that will improve performance of 760,000 small farmers in 27 regions of Azerbaijan.
The official exchange rate on December 30, is 0,7850 AZN / USD.
