Kazakhstan's largest trade associations Kazenergy and Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Understanding, Kazenergy reported.
The document includes such areas of cooperation as the improvement of legislation in the fields of mining, environmental protection and social partnership, attracting investment in the sectors. Moreover, according to the memorandum, the associations will cooperate to protect business interests, to develop human resource, to promote transparency initiatives and implement joint educational and social projects and programs.
"The signing of the memorandum opens broad prospects for us. This is a new impetus to the development of mutually beneficial partnerships between our two associations," Kazenergy's General Director Aset Magauov said.
