Turkey will provide free health insurance for all children in the country under the age of 18, Sabah newspaper reported on Thursday.
According to the report, the decision was made by the Turkish Parliament. Thus, every child born in Turkey will have mandatory national health insurance.
In addition, foreign citizens under the age of 18 who are studying in Turkey, will also have Turkish government health insurance. To do this, they need to undergo special registration within six months of the date of their arrival in Turkey.
In addition, as part of this decision, female victims of violence will be able to get general public health insurance.
