Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey intend to begin implementation of joint projects in other countries. This announcement was made at a meeting of the Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Turkey's Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan during the trilateral business forum in Gabala on Saturday.
Mustafayev said the economy of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey and the cooperation between them have reached such level of development, when these three countries may begin to implement joint projects in other countries and make joint investments.
"There are already good examples of such collaboration that demonstrate that our joint work, including this business-forum, is bearing fruit," Mustafayev said.
Turkish Minister Caglayan has proposed to hold such trilateral meetings in any other country. This will create opportunities to open new markets for entrepreneurs from these three countries.
"The total population of the three countries equals 87 million people, the total annual national income - $868 billion, the total foreign trade turnover - $440 billion," Caglayan said.
