Iran is trying to find new ways to transfer money to the country, Mousa Ahmadi, member of Iran's Majlis (parliament) Energy Committee, said on Monday, ILNA reported.

"Large sums of money are currently blocked in foreign banks," the agency quoted Ahmadi as saying.

He named set-off as one of the possible solutions, but refused to talk about the other ways due to security reasons.

Ahmadi also said that countries like China and India are bypassing anctions to purchse Iran's oil products.

Currently it is almost impossible for money to flow in and out of Iran via official bank channels.

Iran's Deputy Commerce Minister for Economic Affairs, Hamid Safdel said in February about $100 billion worth of Iran's assesses have been blocked overseas.
