"Azerbaijan Airlines" purchased a second Embraer-190 aircraft, spokesman for Azerbaijan Airlines Maharram Safarli told Trend today.
"The second Embraer-190 aircraft has been already delivered to Baku," Safarli added.
He added that the company will receive four more aircraft produced by the Brazilian company Embraer (two Embraer-170 and two Embraer-190) by late 2013.
Four new tankers and five ferries have been acquired over the last five years.
Contracts were signed and 16 passenger "Boeing", "Airbus" and "Embraer" aircraft, as well as three helicopters were purchased between 2008 and 2012.
