Azerbaijani leasing company does not expect reduction of portfolio size in 2013

In the first half of 2013, Azerbaijani leasing company Ansar Leasing concluded deals to the sum of $4.5 million, the company's CEO Jeykhun Naghiyev reported to Trend.

"Since the beginning of the year, the company has made a profit of about $0.4 million. The leasing portfolio of Ansar Leasing currently stands at about $20 million. We expect to maintain the company's portfolio size at the same level by the end of the year," Naghiyev said.

According to him, the company has no plans with regards to attracting additional resources for expansion.

"At this point, we possess all the necessary financial resources and sources of funding," he added.

In view of the difficult situation on the market and the observed stagnation, it is difficult to make predictions on the prospects by the end of this year, the company head said.

Ansar Leasing is a trademark of Azərbaycan Lizinq which was founded by the Islamic Corporation for Private Sector Development and passed official state registration on December 12, 2008. The company's goal is to provide leasing services through financial leasing operations based on the latest technologies in accordance with international standards. The company's authorised capital stands at five million manat.
