Azerbaijani consultants have the potential to showcase their achievements, National Program Manager of Business Advisory Services of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Lala Rzayeva said on Thursday.
A round table was organized in Baku yesterday for the representatives of 15 consulting companies of Azerbaijan, during which the international award of the Gabriel Al-Salem Foundation was presented.
"The awards take place as part of the annual Consulting without Borders conference organized by the fund. During the conference which will be held in 2014 in Kiev, the representatives of the consulting companies from various countries of the world, as well as the individual consultants will have the opportunity to share experiences and discuss the role of the national consulting organizations in developing consulting industry in general," the President of the Gabriel Al-Salem Foundation Victoria Olskaia said during the presentation.
Sponsored by the EBRD, the conference is part of an on-going effort to create a thriving consultancy market to support small and medium enterprises in Azerbaijan. Since starting work in Azerbaijan in 1998, Small Business Support has helped over 700 enterprises access consulting know-how to help them develop and grow.
