Azerbaijani Central Bank, WB discuss prospects of cooperation

The prospects of cooperation were discussed within the meeting between the chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Bank (CBA) Elman Rustamov and the delegation of the World Bank (WB) led by Aurora Ferrari, the Manager for Development of financial and private sectors in Europe and Central Asia, according to a message from the CBA published on Tuesday.
The CBA chairman Elman Rustamov informed the representatives of the WB about the measures taken by the Central Bank in the field of providing access to financial services and development of banking sector.
Aurora Ferrari expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with Azerbaijan in the financial and other strategic areas, emphasizing the success of the World Bank programs implemented in the country.
The current state of the WB programs implemented in Azerbaijan in the spheres of financial and private sectors, as well as priorities of further cooperation in this sphere were discussed during the meeting.
