By Daniar Mukhtarov - Trend: It is planned to construct a large logistics center in Kazakhstan's Aktobe region jointly with JSC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, akim (governor) of the Aktobe oblast (province) Arkhimed Mukhambetov said on Nov. 8 at a briefing held at the Central Communications Service under the Kazakh President.
"We will soon begin the construction of a large logistics center with the participation of the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company," the governor said.
According to Mukhambetov, the project's cost is $143 million.
"The center is being created along the Western Europe-Western China transit corridor," the governor added.
