Iran’s non-oil exports surpass $24.6 billion

Iran exported some 56.844 million tons of non-oil goods worth $24.605 billion in the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year, which started March 21, Iran's Customs Administration reported.

The figure shows 7.7 per cent increase and 12.7 per cent decrease in terms of weight and value, respectively, compared to the same period of time previous year, the IRIB News Agency reported.

Gas condensates and petrochemicals respectively account for $4.944 billion and $6.405 billion of the mentioned amount.

China with $4.252 billion, Iraq with $3.87 billion, the United Arab Emirates with $2.318 billion, India with $1.659 billion, and Afghanistan with $1.639 billion were the main destinations for Iran's non-oil goods in thee mentioned period.

Iran's non-oil foreign trade in the mentioned period reached $53 billion.

Iran has trades with 105 countries.
