Renowned Italian and Korean companies will launch joint production lines with Iranian manufacturers, the Mehr News Agency quoted head of the Iranian association of home appliance manufacturers, Mohammad Tahanpour, as saying on January 25.
"Italy's Indesit and Korea's LG plan to manufacture home appliances jointly with Iranian partners," he said.
"Launching joint production lines with these foreign companies will not lead to a rise in prices of home appliances in the country," he stressed.
