Azerbaijani State Property Committee announces tender for construction of reserve information centre

The Azerbaijani State Property Committee has announced a tender for constructing a reserve information centre and information technology and data management centre under the State Committee in the Shamakhi region, the state committee said on Wednesday.
The tender was announced as part of the World Bank (WB) project on real estate registration in Azerbaijan.
Participants must submit their bids before March 5 at 14:45. The tender procedure will be held at 15:00 on March 5, according to the report.

The Azerbaijani government and the World Bank signed an agreement on the project of creating a unified system of real estate cadastre in July 2007. The project consists of four components - registration of real estate, management and register of state property; basic cartography and cadastre, training, policy development and project management.
As a result of restructuring, the project designed for 2008-2012, has been extended until late 2014.
The project cost is $38.57 million, of which the WB share of the loan accounts for $30 million.
