Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili arrived in Adjara to review the situation in the regions affected by the torrential rains on September 20-21.
The president will review the consequences of floods in Adjara and Samegrelo, the presidential administration told Trend September 22.
Torrential rains have caused great damage to infrastructure of Adjara and Samegrelo. The ground floors and basements of houses were flooded in Batumi and Poti. At present, special rescue teams work in these regions.
