Istanbul's gas distribution network İgdas Dogal Gaz Dagıtım A.S will be fully privatized, the head of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Kadir Toppash was quoted Oct. 28 by Kanal7 TV channel as saying.
"The network will be privatized in November," he said.
He said that the final sale price was set at 4.2 billion lira.
Previously, around 90 percent of Istanbul's gas distribution network - İgdas Dogal Gaz Dagıtım A.S. was privatized.
İgdas Dogal Gaz Dagıtım A.S.is one of the largest gas distribution networks in Turkey. The number of its subscribers exceeds five million.
The official exchange rate is 2.8357 TRY/USD Oct. 28.
