Kazakh Bank RBK appoints new chairman

Member of the Board of Directors of Kazakh Bank RBK Igor Mazhinov was appointed to the post of bank's Chairman of the Board, said the bank's message.

The Board of Directors of the bank made the decision on November 4, 2014.

Mazhinov will replace Marpu Zhakubaeva at this post. Zhakubaeva in turn was appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Board.

"The main task of Igor Mazhinov at the post of the Chairman of the Board will be to implement the bank's new development strategy for 2015-2017 years," said the bank's message.

Bank RBK is Kazakhstan's universal financial institution having well-balanced development performances. As of October 1, 2014 the bank's assets hit 365.4 billion tenge (180.87 tenge = $1), loan portfolio - 278.8 billion tenge, client's funds - 306.6 billion tenge, including 64.1 billion tenge worth of deposits of individuals . The bank's profit for January-September 2014 amounted to 1.9 billion tenge, which is 82 percent more compared to the same period of 2013.

The Bank has offices in Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Shymkent, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Ekibastus.
