Information and communication services worth 133.6 million AZN were rendered for Azerbaijan's population and organizations in January 2015 or 13.9 percent more than in the same period of 2014, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee's report as of January says.
Around 72.2 percent of the total volume of information and communication services accounted for the services rendered to the population.
Some 52.5 percent of a total volume of obtained income accounted for mobile services.
A total volume of revenues obtained from mobile services in Azerbaijan hit 70.2 million AZN in January, which is 3.5 percent more than in January 2014.
The official exchange rate is 0.7848 AZN/USD Feb. 16.
