Etibar Aliyev has been re-appointed as the chairman of Bank Technique Supervisory Board.
"I have today assumed my duties as the chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bank Technique," Aliyev told Trend. "This was preceded by the measures of supporting the development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, taken by the president."
Aliyev headed Bank Technique and controlled 15 percent of the shares till spring 2012.
This position has been again vacant since October 16, 2015 after Rovshan Ismayilov resigned by his request.
Ismayilov has served as the chairman of the Supervisory Board since July 2012.
The position of a chairman of the bank has also remained vacant since winter.
Bank Technique JSC operates in Azerbaijan since 1994 (it was called Rashadbank earlier, and Texnika Bank since 1998). The bank received its present name after rebranding in 2012. The Bank offers a wide range of banking and financial services in Azerbaijan.
