The disbursement rate of the World Bank's funds in Azerbaijan has reached 24 percent, said Azerbaijan's Finance Minister Samir Sharifov.
He made the remarks during a ceremony dedicated to the expiration of the office term of the WB country manager for Azerbaijan, Larisa Leshchenko.
Samir Sharifov noted that the disbursement rate of the World Bank's funds in Azerbaijan was 13 percent in 2012.
Azerbaijan became a WB member in 1992.
The World Bank has allocated nearly $3.786 billion worth loans to Azerbaijan as of Feb. 1, 2016. Those funds were directed to finance over 60 projects.
