Prices for secondary housing continue to fall in Tashkent

The average offer price in the secondary housing market in Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent dropped by 1.8 percent (from $599 to $588 per square meter) in July 2016, as compared to June, a representative of Uzbekistan’s Republican Real Estate Exchange told Trend Aug.8.

The price per square meter in panel buildings has decreased by 1.1 percent (from $562 to $556) in July, while the figure dropped by 2.8 percent (from $653 to $635) in brick buildings.

The offer price for one-room apartments has increased by 0.7 percent and reached $586 per square meter, while the price for multi-room apartments has remained almost unchanged ($610 as compared to $612 in June).

The greatest decrease (3.4 percent) was observed in prices for two-room apartments (from $595 to $575).

The price for three-room apartments has dropped by 0.5 percent and stood at $593 per square meter, as compared to $595 in June, while the price for four-room apartments has decreased by 1.4 percent (from $634 to $625).
