Kazakhstan plans to attract $80 million loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development for a social health insurance project, the country’s Finance Ministry said Aug. 9.
The project should improve the availability, quality and cost-effectiveness of the healthcare services and reduce people’s financial risks from serious health problems.
The project will be implemented by Kazakh Health and Social Development Ministry in 2017-2021.
The ministry will also administrate the funds attracted to the project.
