Turkmenistan’s oil refineries are dynamically increasing the production of bitumen, which is necessary for construction and repair of roads, said a message from the country’s oil and gas complex.
In total, production of oil asphalt increased by 8.7 percent in Turkmenistan in 1H 2016 as compared to the same period of 2015.
The production of oil asphalt grows stably at the Seydi refinery, which produces oil asphalt since February 2015 at the installation established by Westport Trading Europe Limited.
In January-July 2016, the Seydi refinery produced about 19,000 tons of high-quality road asphalt from oil stock.
Road asphalt production is also increasing at the Turkmenbashi refinery.
