The auction on placement of short-term bonds of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance worth 22 million manats (official exchange rate for Sept. 29 is 1.6252 AZN/USD) will be held at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) October 4, the BSE said.

The auction on placement of short-term bonds of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance worth 22 million manats (official exchange rate for Sept. 29 is 1.6252 AZN/USD) will be held at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) October 4, the BSE said.

Some 220,000 bonds with par value of 100 manats each and maturity of 91 days will be put up for the auction.

The maturity of bonds is January 3, 2017.

Underwriter of the issue is PASHA Capital investment company.

The Azerbaijani State Committee for Securities registered two issue prospectus of state short-term and medium-term bonds of the finance ministry in the total amount of 400 million manats, as well as two state bonds issue prospectus in the amount of $500 million in late January.

The country’s finance ministry said that the bonds will be placed throughout the year.
