Unibank OJSC will hold an extraordinary general meeting of its shareholders October 28, the bank said in a message published in the Electronic System for Information Disclosure (ESID) of Azerbaijan Sept. 28.
During the meeting it is planned to discuss the appointment of a new deputy chairman of the Unibank’s board.
Currently, the bank’s executive board includes 3 people – Chairman of the Management Board Faig Huseynov and members of the board - director for risk management, chief risk officer Asef Huseynov and director for finances, first deputy executive director, chief financial officer Emin Rasulzade, according to the information on the Unibank’s website.
Unibank OJSC was established Oct. 15, 2002, as a result of the merger of two private commercial banks in Azerbaijan - Mbank and Promtexbank. Unibank occupies leading positions in the list of Azerbaijan’s banks according to financial indicators.
