Turkey’s privatization administration told Trend that 6,154 tenders were held in Istanbul in 1H17.
Meanwhile, 2,997 tenders were held on procurement of goods, 2,264 tenders – in the services sector, 858 tenders – in the construction sector, and 35 tenders – on consulting services.
In 2016, 11,534 tenders were held in Istanbul, and 5,832 of these tenders were conducted on procurement of goods, 4,065 tenders – in the services sector, 1,556 tenders – in the construction sector, and 81 tenders – in the sphere of consulting services.
It should be noted that 71,094 tenders were held in Turkey in 1H17 by 9,853 companies as compared to 160,437 tenders held by 12,299 companies in 2016.
