Kazakhstan sees rise in assets of real sector companies

In Kazakhstan, in the third quarter of 2017, positive changes were recorded in the structure of assets of companies in the real sector of the economy, as the share of long-term assets increased from 63.7 percent to 64.1 percent during the quarter.

This was indicated in the report entitled "The conjuncture survey: Results of a survey of enterprises in the real sector of the economy" of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

In the structure of short-term assets, the share of short-term receivables increased, and stocks slightly increased as well.

The turnover of assets practically did not change, making 13.3 percent.

The turnover of working capital increased insignificantly to 37.1 percent against the background of relative stability of the share of current assets in the assets of enterprises.

In the third quarter of 2017, in the structure of liabilities the share of own capital increased from 46.5 percent to 47 percent and short-term liabilities from 23.8 percent to 25.7 percent.

The share of long-term liabilities decreased from 29.7 percent to 27.3 percent.

The situation with overdue debts has not changed significantly: the share of enterprises with overdue accounts payable and overdue debts on loans of banks has practically not changed.

In general, the share of bank loans in the structure of liabilities of enterprises decreased from 21.1 percent in the second quarter of 2017 to 19.4 percent in the third quarter of 2017.
