Turkish insurance company Liberty Sigorta is up for sale, Turkish media reported on Dec.11.
Reportedly, the Turkish company "HDI Sigorta" is interested in buying "Liberty Sigorta".
The company's value has not been disclosed.
Liberty Sigorta started operating in Turkey since 2006 with the acquisition of the majority of shares of Liberty Mutual Insurance Grup, Şeker Sigorta.
"Liberty Sigorta" is one of the largest insurance companies in Turkey and is engaged in car insurance, real estate and agricultural insurance.
The company has 700 branches throughout Turkey.
According to the Association of Turkish Insurers, 70 insurance companies are operating in the country.
