A plant for production of ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware will be opened in Kazakhstan’s Aktobe Region, the Kazakh media reported Jan. 5.
Reportedly, the plant will produce 5 million square meters of finished products using Italian technology.
The project worth 6 billion tenge will be included in the program of industrial and innovative development of Kazakhstan.
Currently, equipment for the plant is being assembled in Italy. Specialists will install the equipment, as well as train local workers.
Thirteen investment projects are planned to be implemented in Aktobe this year.
Production of oil and gas equipment, metal products, antifreeze, chemical reagents was launched in Aktobe in 2017.
