Production of mineral construction products (glassware, ceramics, tiles) in Kazakhstan reached 403.5 billion tenge in value terms in 11 months of 2017, which is 13.6 percent more than in the same period of the previous year, EnergyProm (energyprom.kz) reports.
The production also increased by 3 percent in volume terms.
The biggest volume of construction materials were produced in South Kazakhstan Region, Astana, East Kazakhstan Region and the Almaty Agglomeration (Almaty and adjacent areas).
South Kazakhstan houses such large producers as Asia Ceramics Ltd., Zerde-Keramika LLP (producer of ceramic coatings and slabs), Batsu Vodokanal LLP (producer of bricks and tiles), Shymkentcement JSC, Standard Cement LLP, Sas-Tobe Technologies LLP (cement and clinker producer), Tyulkubas Liming Plant LLP, Otystyk-Kurylys-Service LLP, JBI-S LLP (producer of prefabricated concrete and reinforced concrete structures).
The list of major companies in Astana includes Stroikonstruktsiya JSC, Astana Concrete Plant Maasat LLP, PSK Titan LLP (producer of prefabricated reinforced concrete and concrete structures and products), Alliance MTS LLP, Ecoton+ JSC (producer of wall blocks), United Construction Corporation-Stroiservice LLP, ABK-Concrete Plant LLP, and Center Beton Company LLP (producer of concrete).
