A special expert council is being created under the Foreign Trade Ministry of Uzbekistan, that will be tasked to boost development and implementation of programs on comprehensive support of domestic exporters, reads a message on the website of the ministry.
Independent experts as well as the direct representatives of exporter businesses together with the specialists of the ministry will be a part of the council according to the concept.
A number of core workgroups on various areas are to be formed under the expert council right away: analysis of goals of processes associated with implementation of export and import, as well as revealing of obstacles hampering the international trade; development of proposals on improvement of transportation system and logistics; development of proposals on improvement of legislation concerning the realization of foreign economic activity; organization of events promoting exchange of views and proposals among private sector, export community and the Foreign Trade Ministry.
Experts will also take part in discussions over the amendment and development of regulatory legal acts.
