Building materials worth 31.5 million manats were produced in Azerbaijan in January 2018, which is by 22.2 percent more than in January 2017, according to the country’s State Statistics Committee.
Cement production increased by 28.2 percent to 173,800 tons, production of building lime increased by 33.1 percent to 3,340 tons, production of ready-mixed concrete grew 6 percent up to 78,000 tons, production of asphalt increased by 8.2 percent to 2,800 tons and production of bricks grew 2.4 times to 22,700 cubic meters in January 2018 compared to January 2017.
