A corresponding decree has been signed by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Annual production capacity of the enterprise will total 3,650 tons of cotton yarn, 12 million square meters of cotton fabric and 1.2 million items of production.

The project also includes improvement of the neighboring area, construction of external engineer communications and installations, training of specialists, preparation of spare parts for the installed equipment during the two years after the commissioning using the company’s funds.

The document orders to start the construction work in March 2018 and launch the enterprise with full use capacity in March 2021.

Textile industry in Turkmenistan is developing due to increase of internal processing of cotton-wool. Turkmen farmers met contract obligations by harvesting more than 1.05 million of cotton-wool in late October 2017.
