Kazakhstan increased the production of raw and semi-processed gold, as well as gold powder to 13,562 kg in January-February 2018, which is 4.7 percent more than in the same month of 2017, the Committee for Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a statement.
The production of raw, semi-processed silver and silver powder amounted to 151,425 kg, which is 10 percent less than in the same period of 2017.
In 2017, the production of raw gold in Kazakhstan amounted to 85,029 kg, which is 13.8 percent more than in 2016. The raw silver production, in turn, amounted to 1 million kg, which is 10.8 percent less than a year earlier.
