Work is underway to establish an Arbitration Center of member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), a source in the Turkish government told Trend on April 17.
"The creation of the OIC Arbitration Center will allow Muslim countries to solve their own problems," the source said.
The source emphasized that other countries can also apply to this Arbitration Center.
However, the source did not reveal where the new Arbitration Center will be located.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan proposed to establish an Arbitration Center of the OIC member countries at the OIC conference back in 2016.
OIC countries shouldn't appeal to the International Court of Arbitration for resolving their internal disputes, Erdogan said then.
The OIC has 57 member-states.
