Blokchain technology may play a huge role for small and medium-sized business of Kazakhstan, President of the DIGITAL NETWORK Association of Digital Technologies and Crypto Industry Olzhas Murtazin told Trend.
"In fact, the use of blockchain technology excludes the participation of third parties, thus reducing the costs, including logistics, financial accounting, maintenance of the companies and so on," Murtazin said.
He stressed that the DIGITAL NETWORK Association presently negotiates with national companies of Kazakhstan to start joint implementation of blockchain.
"We hope to persuade the campaign to use blockchain technology in production processes, including the oil sector, since the implementation of blockchain gives an economic efficiency of 50-80 percent to the companies, using it," Murtazin said.
Previously, Murtazin said that DIGITAL NETWORK will participate in the opening of the first Kazakh cryptocurrency bourse and the first legal cryptoexchanger of Kazakhstan in 2018.
He added that the association intends to cooperate with Kazakhstan’s small and large businesses for implementation of blockchain technology, as well as with the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs for education programs in the sphere of the crypto industry.
The association will also discuss the taxation of the crypto industry with the Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov and further meet with the Chairman of the Atameken Chamber of Commerce Timur Kulibayev to discuss the future of the crypto industry in Kazakhstan.
