Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan eye to boost trade turnover

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are planning to increase mutual trade turnover to $5 billion in future, adviser to the Uzbek embassy in Kazakhstan, Teymur Rahimov, told Mir 24 CIS TV channel.

According to him, both countries will be able to reach a new level thanks to the projects for improving ecology in problem territories, including the Aral Sea issue.

Earlier in March, the two countries discussed ways of increasing mutual trade turnover and agreed to raise it to $3 billion in 2018, which is 33 percent more compared to 2017.
